THANK YOU everyone who helped to make our Christmas appeal so successful and special for the children. 🙏💝
708 children were given a Christmas gift bag containing a toy/gift, an item of clothing and some toiletries. Approximately 500 bags were given out on the island São Nicolau and approximately 200 on Santo Antão. Any further gifts are donated in the next month, will be given out in the poorer areas of Sal.
We wish we could show you their huge smiles, but we have to blur their faces for their protection.
Thank you as well to everyone who helped with the distribution. Goose Gus CaboverdeSal, Carole Townsend, Luzia Margarida Gomes and myself sorted all the donations into bags. Amanda Robey worked hard behind the scenes, sorting all your charity baggage allowances and shipping costs. Gus, @José Francisco Almeida, Maria Fatima Gomes, Nadilsa Freitas, Porfírio Mestre, Maria Silva, Ailtonpj Djack, Armanda Almeida Ninabriss, XôXô Tchotchass, Nely Alves and Maic’s Stars gave out all the presents. And finally thank you also to the City hall of Ribeira Brava and Tarrafal city for providing transport 🙏
But the main stars are all of you who donated. Your generosity and kindness exceeded all our expectations and made all this possible! Thank you so much. 💗
