Whilst we have been busy distributing Christmas gift bags on the islands of Sal and Sao Vicente, Gus and Nilza came across this lovely little girl. Keylin, was in desperate need of a wheelchair, they are expensive and very difficult to come by in Cape Verde. Thanks to the generosity of Jan Heritage and her husband and their very kind donation of a wheelchair, we were able to replace 6 year old Keylin’s old wheelchair with this lovely one. Her old one had holes in the seat and one of the wheels was badly worn.
We also made sure that Keylin got a Christmas gift bag at the same time.
