Our school appeal has been a HUGE success and it is thanks to ALL you amazing tourists who donated!!!! 
Thanks to your generosity, we were able to help 2 schools and a kindergarten enormously.
To the junior school in Pretoria (a poor area of Espargos), we gave 110 children school bags with a full pencil case, colouring pens/pencils/crayons and a text book. We also gave them 2 large suitcases of spare books, reading and activity books, and additional stationery. 
We also gave a large bin bag full of jigsaws, crayons, paints, colouring, reading and activity books to be passed on to kindergarten.
To the secondary school in Säo Nicolau, we have 4 large suitcases of stationery, text books and school uniform ready to be shipped over as soon as Gus returns from Säo Vicente. We also are giving a little boy there a much needed wheelchair (funded by your monetary donations).
And it is thanks to your kindness and generosity. Without your donations, none of this would have been possible. So THANK YOU!!
We are still collecting stationery and school supplies all year round, as there are many other schools needing help. We are now collecting for a school in Mindelo, Sāo Vicente. If you are able to bring donations out with you, we may be able to apply for extra charity luggage allowance for you. Thank you ☺️
